SUPREMO 4k: tips. Pros and cons

Here's my feedback for SUPREMO 4K

UNIT FEEDBACK:

I got my SUPREMO 4k last December 7, 2016. The unit is good. All brandnew. All accessories as seen in the photo ad are included in the the package. I availed jackpod and camera bag. All expenses around 4.6k din.

You need to download the SUPREMO WORLD APP to access the photos into your phone. You can also access the photos via 2 inches screen of the unit, with dedicated keys for navigation..

Sample shots are actually good. The unit will not disappoint you. (syempre for 3.8k, the photo is good, you'll be glad, swear).

If you browse the photos and videos via SUPREMO WORLD APP, the quality of the photo is really good. It is also available for browsing through the 2 inches screen of the unit. Kahit indoor shots, tulad ng loob ng mall, maganda ang kuha. At automatic yung fish-eye function.

TECHNICALITIES:

Use a memory card with at least 45mb/s speed to maximize the capacity ng unit. Worse cases, If you use low speed micro sd, the unit itself will lag. Even through the SUPREMO WORLD APP, your application will constantly crash...

Even if you try to capture videos and photos using a low speed micro sd, the unit will not record the clip. Sayang. In short, you have to purchase a little bit pricey micro sd, may available din naman sa kimstore.. Kapag mababa, magka crash lagi yung application nio sa phone.

Mine, I got TRANSCEND EXTREME PRO. It is advisable for 4k videos or HD videos. I got it for 2499.55 pesos from LAZADA. It has 95mb/s speed. The profile is actually high, that's why it's pricey. :)

USAGE:

Mga Ma'am/Sir, at first try, the supremo is not as good as what my photos and video shows. YOU HAVE TO SET THE SETTINGS OF THE ACTION CAMERA to maximize it's beauty.

1. VIDEO RESOLUTION - Please select 4K 24fps for very good video output.
2. LOOP RECORDING - set it OFF, if not, your videos will be cut every 3, 5, or 10 minutes.
3. HDR - set if ON, for quality pictures.
4. DATE STAMP - I suggest you turn it OFF. Why? I noticed that the pictures or videos become blurry when it's ON.
5. GYROSCOPE - set it ON, for less shakiness of your videos.
6. PICTURE QUALITY - choose SUPER FINE.
7. ANTI - SHAKE - set it ON for non-blurry photos.
8. EXPOSURE - Negative exposure for capturing photos with excessive light. Positive Exposure for lack of enough source of light.
9. CAR DVR MODE - If you want to use the action camera while charger, I suggest you TURN this ON.
10. Kapag gagamitin ang action camera kasama ang WATER PROOF CASE, wala pong audio na marerecord mahina ang audio na marerecord.

Some settings are self-explanatory. If you cannot fully understand the technicalities of the terms (just like me when I first used the camera), you can always turn to the SUPREMO 4k's Manual and User Guide. It's really handy. ☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺

SPECIAL REMINDER. Every time you remove the battery, the DATE and TIME SETTING will reset. You have to set it over and over again to have the accurate DATE and TIME.

CHARGING CONCERN:

Ewan ko kung ako lang nakaka experience pero ang tagal mag indicate ng unit na fully charged na siya. Almost whole day ko tuloy inaantay na fully charged. 

IN ADDITION:
WALA PANG AVAILABLE NA EXTERNAL CHARGER.
Unlike SJCam, GoPro, and Xiaomi yi where you can buy extra batteries without the worry of how to charge them since you can purchase external charger. Ang battery po ng SUPREMO 4K po ay manual po ninyong ichacharge sa loob ng mismong sport cam. SAD LIFE. No matter how many batteries you buy as back up source, it will be useless. Mag oover heat lang si SUPREMO 4K.

REMOTE DEVICE:

To be honest, this is another downside of the supremo 4k. As I heard from owners of supremo1, one of the drawback is also the remote device. It can easily get drained. When I went to Kimstore's main office, the staff was kind enough to replace the battery. But after a week, the indicator of the remote device is red again. (I guess I have to replace it again with a new battery pack.)

As per reading the manual, I can't figure out how to turn off the remote device.. Nakakainis na kung kailan kailangan ko yung remote device, I wasn't able to use it. Ang hassle!

TRANSACTION FEEDBACK:

I opted first to transact via COD, pero dahil excited ako, nag MEET UP na lang ako sa TECHNOPOP BLUEBAY WALK. Mabilis yung response nila sa order form ko, kinabukasan may instruction na agad kung pano makukuha yung unit. Less hassle. Kahit 6pm to 8pm lang yung meet up schedule, inaccommodate pa din nila ako kahit 8:15pm na ako nakarating sa store nila. At dahil meet up, malinis yung amount na binayaran ko, plus yung ibang accessories na inavail ko.

SUPREMO WORLD APPLICATION:

Nakakadismaya po tong application na toh. Constantly nagcacrash yung apps kahit 95mb/s na yung gamit ko na micro sd. Siguro dahil wifi connection lang, hindi kaya yung pagbobrowse ko ng mga pictures and video sa album.


I tried using other apps na available sa google play, kaso di nagcoconnect. hindi siguro compatible. KAILANGAN MAGTIIS SA SUPREMO WORLD. :'(

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FEEDBACK:

Nagkaroon ako ng problem sa una kong unit. Nag-o-AUTOMATIC VIDEO RECORD yung unit kapag chinacharge, at the same time, hindi nag iindicate na charging.

PS. TRY TO RESET THE UNIT kapag naexperiece nio ito.. Kasi nagreset ako, ayun, umayos naman yung second unit ko.

Grabe, siguro ang kulit kulit ko, sobra, as in. 😑😑😑 Pano ba naman, mga bes, NAG-CHAT ako, tapos, NAGPOST pa ng comment, tapos after that, NAG FILL UP pa ako ng form for technical assistance, tapos NAGTEXT pa ako sa dalawang contact number nila, tapos NAG-EMAIL pa ako. Imagine mga bes, ang kulit ko talaga.

Ang ending, itinawag ko na lang sa technopop bluebay walk yung concern, at sinabi nilang dalhin na lang daw sa kanila yung unit.

Anim na video yung niready ko, mga bes, magkakaibang oras at araw yun para maprove na may problem sa unit. At dahil siguro sa dami ng video ko, hindi na nila pinatagal, pinalitan nila agad yung unit.

SOBRANG ACCOMMODATING nila kahit ang kulit kulit ko na.. Tapos kahit lagpas na naman ako sa oras ng technical concern nila, pinagbigyan pa din nila ako.. After mapalitan yung unit, saka ko natanggap yung email response at text message response ng kimstore sa concern ko.. Hahahaha. Okay na, napalitan naman na kaya nagadvise na lang ako na pinalitan na ni technopop yung unit..

A LITTLE BIT OF ADVICE:

If you're in a rush in buying any item through KIMSTORE, or you cannot wait for the 3-day process, I suggest you opt to MEET UP option, specially this holiday session. There are a lot of complaints that Kimstore cannot accommodate all the inquiry via text, chat, or comment. Well, What do you expect? Peak season po ngayon. And since KIMSTORE is really offering cheap prices compare to the ones in the mall, dumog ang order ng mga tao.

I also bought 2 pcs JAGUAR POWER BANK 10kmah. Sulit na sulit para sa something worth 500.00 pesos na kris kringle. Murang mura compare doon sa mga mamahaling item sa mall. Meron nito sa abenson, pero 900pesos ang selling nila. Grave lang..

I bought ACTIVE BLUETOOTH HEADSET a year ago, until now operational pa din at matagal malowbat. Sulit na sulit talaga.

Our First Unplanned Tagaytay Escapade 2016

This trip happened last May 27 to 28, 2016.

The initial plan was to go to Bato Spring in San Pablo, Laguna. 

But due to very crowded lane sa JAC liner, 

we decided to go to Tagaytay, instead. 

It was unplanned :) 

Habang umaandar yung bus na pa-TRECE, nagbobrowse ako online. 

Good thing may data ako!!!

(I booked a room 3 hours before our arrival in Tagaytay.)

Hindi na ako nag eexpect na makakakuha kami ng magandang hotel.. 

The not-so-good-thing doon ay yung malapit na ako malowbat. :( 

and the not-more-so-good-thing is almost one bar na lang natitira sa powerbank ko. 

Nakarating na kami ng CROSSING kaya bumaba na kami to take another ride going to Tagaytay.

Ang saya lang kasi di ako magkandaugaga kahahanap ng hotel, pati ng mga itenerary ahhahaha :D

FIRST STOP...

Nang makarating kami sa Mountain Breeze Hostel, it was very refreshing. nakakarelax din.

Kahit biglaan lang yung pagpapabook namin doon, worth yung risk :)

Nakakatuwa yung huni ng mga kulisap.

Late 11pm na kami nakarating. We had to sign a registration form kay Kuya Danny.

The area is so cosy... Parang it gives you the feeling of royal life..

Puti ang main color ng sala kaya nakakarelax.

Medyo nostalgic kasi para vintage yung mga designs..

Most of the time nasa sala kami. Picture dito, Picture doon.

But you can eat in the table near the door..

pero syempre, kalat mo, linis mo din.

Yard :) Malago ang mga damo :D

The yard is big,

It can accommodate 4 groups of at least 6 pax each.

There are 4 different table to choose.

Pwede kayo magbreakfast sa yard nila.

Maari manghingi ng mainit na kape kung meron man kayong dalang sachet ng coffee.

Maari  ding manghiram ng mga plato, kutsara't tinidor at mga baso, ngunit kailangan niyong maghugas :)

Paalaala lang, may mga langaw na magpipiesta sa mga binti ninyo :)

Pose muna ulit bago kami umakyat papuntang high way.

Isip bata :) 

Nag enjoy ako sa upuan na toh.

Kahit gaano pa ako kabigat,

Hindi ako bumagsak

Pero umiikot naman ako. :D

Balik sa Olivarez...

Biglaang plano to go to the best bulalo in town. 

Sumakay kami ng pa-MENDEZ at bumaba sa Mahogany Ave. 

Though most people said that the best bulalo could be found in Mahogany Market in a not-so-classy place barung-barong.

Instead, we tried the Mer Ben tapsilogan as suggested by POP TALK show of Channel eleven.

We also tried fried tawilis.

Masarap yung bulalo and tawilis. Idagdag mo pa ang view ng taal lake. 

Nakakatanggal ng pagod sa ilang taon mong pagtatrabaho sa Manila.

After that, nagtanong kami kay best friend Google for other places to visit.

Since we've been to People's Park in Sky and picnic groove, we tried the Our lady of Manaoag at Tierra de Maria. Kalmado ng lugar. Para ngang may mga angel sa loob ng chapel. May mga kumislap kislap na ilaw. Parang pinapagaan ang bigat ng dibdib mo..

Ang tagal kasi nung family na nagpipicture.

So move on na lang..

NEXT STOP...

Matapos ang pagiging kalmado, balik na naman kami sa Olivarez. Sumakay kami ng jeep na ALFONSO ang sign board, at bumaba sa kanto papuntang asisan, kung saan matatagpuan ang record holder na "The largest jigsaw puzzles consists of 1,028 different sets" sa Guinness Book of World Records, PUZZLE MANSION.

Kailangan munang sumakay ng tricycle papasok ng Brgy Asisan. Paalaala lang po. Ang tricycle na maghahatid sa inyo papasok sa Brgy Asisan ay siya ding maghahatid sa inyo palabas. Maghahantay ang driver sa inyo hanggang sa makalabas kayo ng PUZZLE MANSION.

Kailangan sumakay ng shuttle para makababang PUZZLE MANSION. Matarik ang daan. Para ngang nasa roller coaster ride kami eh, ANG SAYA :D

Pagdating sa PUZZLE MANSION, kailangan magbayad ng entrance fee na 100 php. At syempre, SANDAMUKAL ng puzzle piece ang makikita ninyo. MANANAWA kayo kakatingin.

UWIAN NA.. Sumakay na lang kami ng ordinary bus pabalik ng Manila.
